Russian Kamaz to produce engine cranks for Volkswagen
MOSCOW, Oct 27 (PRIME) -- Volkswagen Group Rus has authorized a forging facility of truck maker Kamaz, part of state industrial corporation Rostec, to produce engine cranks for Volkswagen light cars from 2018, Kamaz said in a statement on Friday.
Forging facility CEO Alexander Kalashnikov said that the existing capacity stands at 150,000 vehicles annually, and is to be expanded.
